
The lady taking the orders was very nice & humorous. While taking our orders, she told us joking. OK, you can stop now. The dishes ordered are sufficient for your group. She repeated my orders & said they are highly nutritious, lol…
Jokes aside. The chicken are really tender even the breast meat. The curry fish head is a MUST. Forgot to take a picture of the French beans with garlic. It was stirred fried perfectly, slight soft yet retaining the crunch. Stir fried beef with spring onion was good too. 5 dishes, 6 rice & 5 drinks cost $108. Very reasonable pricing. Take note queue gets long during meal time. However due to the large sittings availability, queue moves quite fast. This is a very recommended chicken rice restaurant.

Visited this old school restaurant after many years. Quite a surprise by the long queue. Restaurant was filled up 90% 20 minutes into opening!
My overseas friend was with us and she enjoyed the food tremendously.
The service is fast. They have standby staff to clear the tables.
The food was also not too salty. It has the flavour of our childhood. Almost felt home cooked.
The chicken rice chilli is very sharp and has the right spice.
Our only complaint was that the pork chops was a tad dry.

Overall dining experience is happy.

Ordered the Hainanese Pork Chop with chicken rice SGD8.
Nothing fancy but Good Old School and Family style reminiscence which some/most of the 70s & 80s kids enjoy and seeking these days.
Hainanese pork chop served is towards fried dry and hard (glad it’s not oily) with some family-styled cooked potatoes wedges, sprinkled with semi-solid green peas, a small bowl of Hainanese cooked Tomato 🍅 sauce (a good level of sour) and a complimentary small bowl of chicken flavor MSG infused soup by the kind ah pek uncle.
Will like to position the Hainanese Pork Chop with a score 6/10. And looking forward to try their $6 Hainanese Chicken Rice the next time.

The Half Chicken was delicious and tender. I also enjoyed the Cereal Prawn balls, which were fresh and had a crispy coating. Unfortunately, the Pork Rib King was overly sweet, while the sliced cuttlefish with Koo Chye was too salty.
Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Old-school style, served by elderly staff and fully packed during lunch hours. We tried the Hainanese pork chop and Yin Yang chicken rice, nothing fancy but decent and edible 😊
